The Norwegian Trekking Association (Den Norske Turistforening, DNT) promotes a title called "hyttesamler" or cabin collector: visit 100 DNT cabins and replace your standard silver key with a golden one. The golden key is the same as the silver key in all respects except colour. And prestige. I had been to one DNT cabin in late 2015 when I found out about this and knew right away that I needed the special golden key. Join me on my 5-year journey to visit 100 cabins!
